Basement Cleanout Pricing FAQs

Do you charge extra for basement stairs?

No, the stairs surcharge is already built into our basement pricing. The price range you see here is what you pay. No surprise fees on job day.

What if my basement has water damage or mold?

We still do the cleanout, but we wear respirators and use sealed bags for the moldy items. There's a small surcharge for mold-safe disposal (usually $100 to $200). If the mold is severe, we'll refer you to a remediation company first.

Can you remove an old water heater or washer from my basement?

Yes. Old appliances are included in the basement cleanout price. We recycle the metal where possible. Gas water heaters need to be disconnected by a plumber first; electric water heaters we can handle ourselves.
